Absolutely agree.. As a referee myself I cannot see how he's decided that was a yellow.
Wasn't reckless, in the middle of the park and didn't prevent a promising attack.
After 3 minutes it's never good to have one of your centre backs on a yellow.

What? It's a foul, it's not a yellow. Or do refs give out yellows for every time a foot is trodden on? No, it rarely is, usually it's because of a culmination of other fouls.

Contact was minimal. Careless yes.. Reckless no. Place is a consideration obviously. I never mentioned anything about time but you're right the time isn't something to be considered.
