He doesn’t really want the ball, they know he will only pass it backwards if he’s given the ball and if he does get himself in a position to cross, it is going to be so poor.

Mateta misses far too many chances. He has only scored 1 goal in his last 6 games for our club.

I think it needs to be said, although he's a popular figure - Mateta is not a particularly good out and out natural goal scorer, and given OG uses him as the focal attacking point the strategy will always lead to a certain sense of frustration. Now I've said this he'll score...
