It's a huge hit on productivity. My manager has recently spent half his time, along with several other managers, because a radical lefty turd of a 'man' in the office reported someone claiming he'd been 'offended' but actually he just doesn't like the guy so wanted him gone.

Karma bit him, turned out he'd made naughty comments to a woman and she reported him, and he's been shown the door.

In both cases neither would have gone anywhere 25 years ago, but now businesses are spending a fortune on this s***, not to mention hiring replacements, and at the same time as silencing their staff try to support them mentally with 'we care' schemes such as 'office fwend'. Ie, talk openly but it could get you fired for nothing.

Btw, heard that one of the complaints was that he was offended by a killing act commited in GTA5 when a few guys were chatting about gaming in a break. Literally taken seriously by HR.

Women in HR power positions brought this to us.

any employee who tries (or succeeds ) to get a colleague fired ? Fired for some non-work related crap - like cracking a rude joke. they deserve a mark against their own name. If they do it three or four times, its their own job that needs firing. Cry babies in the workplace. A total nightmare for the smooth-running of any normal business.

And there was me thinking it was concern for my admittedly weird sleeping patterns.

All roads lead to Trump for Wisbech.

Will he ever understand that the reason he has Trump is because of the reaction against people like him?

I mean we told him many times that what he supported 2020-2024 would most likely give him another Trump presidency.

But no one can tell Wisbech anything....He's ability to get things wrong is unsurpassed.

It was.

Trump just happens to suffer from the same problem and because he attracts so much attention has been studied.

This thread has nothing directly to do with Trump but as he is constantly in front of us it’s hardly a surprise that he injects himself into many subjects.

If it geniune then I appreciate the concern.....but I've been like this a long time.

Otherwise the situation I'm in is probably one of age and of a bit of a declined health, too much caffeine and a natural tendency towards being a nightowl. It doesn't really effect the work I do.

As a younger man I was the full eight hours now I find myself sleeping three or four hours a couple of times......Don't know, maybe I'm on the way out.
 
Trump has turned out to be a disappointment.....at least to social conservatives like me.

No border wall (stopping the illegal crossings is great but without a wall it all happens much more easily again once the Democrats win)

No infrastructure.....America is relying on the infrastructure previous generations built post war.

No mass deportations......Less deportations than Obama....the administration have decided that the cheap labour is better for them than promises made to their base.......Different day, same s***.

Foreign wars......Trump is better on Ukraine but spending hundreds of billions on a new war, that benefits his donors much more than it does his voters (in fact its negative for his voters) makes zero sense and breaks campaign promises since 2016.

The economy......Trump has failed thus far and the cost of living for most Americans is awful.....as bad as when Biden was there......Musk tried to stop corruption but Trump fecked that up too.

Epstein files......Utterly unacceptable and cause enough on its own for him to step down.

I want Trump to step down.

But if it was a choice between Trump and the Democrats, I would be forced to support him (well, none of us vote on it but you know what I mean).

I don’t sleep too well either, but the side effects of prostate cancer are responsible for that. I don’t start looking at social media and post comments though. Although I am sure you don’t like their politics do view the video I linked to. It might encourage you to try to change your habits. For the benefit of your health and potential longevity.

A border wall would be enormously expensive, ineffective symbolism. Most illegals are overstayers who entered legally. Most illegal drugs enter via legal checkpoints. A 50 high wall can be beaten by a 51 feet long ladder, or a tunnel. In areas of shifting sands it would be unstable. In mountains impractical. On private land it would be tied up in years of litigation.

Trump’s abandonment of Europe and focus on Asia hasn’t been thought through and discussed with the rest of the western world. It’s rushed and risks getting out of control. His unequivocal support for Israel makes no sense at all when there are alternative pragmatic solutions available.

The economy did fine under Biden, as it recovered from Covid and Trump 1. Musk is no politician. He has no sense of it being the “art of the possible”.

Then you too need to see a doctor. No one, not even you, could be worse than Trump. Something I have known for many years but has become clear to most, if not all, in the recent past.
