BAFTAs - what went on there, then?

Credibility has gone from all award shows these days. They will become a parody of themselves soon enough. People will go to increasing lengths to be woke or diverse in order to win things, forgetting that no one wants to watch that.BAFTAs - what went on there, then?

I think, whichever side you choose, you'll be in the wrong . . . Or, will you? Considering the film/actor was about & portraying Tourettes, pretty poor planning from the organisers imo.I need some assistance on this: whose side am I meant to be with, the people of colour or the disabled person?

Yes, agreed, but was the shouting a racial abuse case? Football players and crowds get fined/banned for saying similar things yet somehow I feel this will not tick that box and no action will be taken. I have sympathy but where do we draw the line? If the condition is uncontrollable and not the fault of the person who has it, how long before the mentally ill out on our streets knifing people use the same excuse? It wasn’t me it was the voices in my head that controlled my actions….The issue is not so much that, and my understanding is that everybody was made aware of the possibilities of outbursts in advance.
There is no wrong or right side on this. Just the nature of things. Issue is why they chose not to bleep it out when it was transmitted on the TV? That is the poor decision making here. But here we are, actually talking about the stupid bloody awards. Which I suspect is the whole point.

Don’t worry, Wisbech will be along to explain that your view is wrong and that the individual was just misunderstood. This is how far our institutions have gone to avoid appearing racist, and three people have died for it.

It must be some kind of criminal negligence? Or at the very least, medical malpractice? This is how far our institutions have gone to avoid appearing racist, and three people have died for it.
