So I go much further than you on concern on this issue. This is the inevitable direction of travel we have seen for years now and it reflects very badly on those who make the appointments.....quite frankly the decisions makers on certain appointments should be sacked.

I would agree that the National Trust of the past was perhaps a bit stuffy but now I regard that as a vast improvement to the embarrassment of the modern day.....which many people just see as just more evidence of national decline due to the left/social liberals.

True.

I will change my chagrin in regards to the make up of the National Trust leadership and point it more at the decline and political social liberalism/feminism/alphabetism embraced by most of our modern day intellectual classes. A mindset that incorporates all my previous criticisms of them as stewards of our national treasures.
 
Perhaps Wisbech can explain this blatant racism and sexism in a pre-school book, ironically titled "Let's Talk About Race", not to mention the encouragement of poor lifestyle habits.

Being fat is bad. HMG are constantly taxing fat food and lecturing us about our eating habits. Clearly white men are clever and other colours of men not so. Job done and pleased I am in the top group. 😂
 
So much truth spoken here.

Helen Andrews......If only this type of woman was the norm instead of what modern society has produced.....the west would be a better place.

A very intelligent lady, and she can be respected for that.

I particularly liked the reference to chimps, just watch "Chimp Empire", on Netflix last year, and you will see human society how it naturally functions outside of the luxury dominance of the west
