Would anyone take Wissa? I think he would be a great back up player to have for the squad now we are in Europa (in some form or another). Full of energy and a handful for defences..

• He wouldn't be interested in being back-up
• Newcastle have bid £25m for him but Brentford turned that down.
• If he were to come here (most unlikely IMO) it would probably be to take Sarr's place with Ismaila dropping to the bench

I'd take him and we are a step up from Brentford regardless of what they'd believe. Especially as FA Cup holders but I'd imagine he'd want a larger step up. Newcastle will probably be his destination. He wants CL football.

There are a couple of younger strikers in Europe we've been linked with. I think we might get one a day before deadline day or something like that. If we get Guessand - he can play up front or wide. Usually an inside forward type player.

If/when Newcastle cave over Isak they will have some money to throw around so will get this done.

Suspect it will end up north of 30m. Which on paper is great for Brentford (29, last year of contract). But they have been absolutely gutted this summer. And running out of time to replace

anyone that gets paid thousands a week for a contract that he signed but can't find it in himself to turn up for training when he doesn't want to honour said contract isn't welcome at selhurst in my opinion.

Might be a timely reminder that we said the same about Munoz, as he was attempting a move to us. Some fans on this site were saying 'avoid this guy if he's got an attitude like that'.
My point is that its all quickly forgotten if the player comes and is a hit.
