Winter Transfer Window 2026

Allan Saint Maximin anyone?
Just left his club in Mexico due to being the victim of racism, so is now a free agent.
Always thought he was quite exciting to watch, but is he just another Traore who runs with the ball but has no end product?
Similar to George Ndah for older supporters, great at dribbling but always ended up at the corner flag, never the goal then lost it.

Can’t understand why we are almost at transfer deadline and not even an indication of a replacement for Guehi …..didn’t we stop him moving to Liverpool because of this ? If they think that Riad is a replacement for an England regular …a guy who has not even played 1 game in 18 months, appears injury prone and has yet to impress …this could be catastrophic.
Plenty on here are happy to argue with you on this but I’d hasten to add I’m not one of them.

I recall George Ndah.Very left-footed,silky skills, liked to run with the ball.
He had a succession of long term injuries. On the treatment table for long periods and injuries dogged his career.
He was at Wolves at the same time as current Brentford manager Keith Andrews.

Potentially because,

We have 29 points so should be fine
Usually have to overpay in Jan
Riad is fit and looks like he might be up to the challange
New manager may not be a 3 CB kinda guy

Ooh-aah George Ndah
say
Ooh-aah George Ndah

with his asymmetrical haircut, I remember him well!

£35m for Brennan Johnson. £48m for Stand-Larsen. Guessand on loan with a £28m option to buy. Athletic reporting a bid rejected for Joel Ordonez who is rated at £35m.

We've recouped £30m of this for Guehi and apparently the £35m feal for Mateta will not impact the Strand-Larsen deal.

So my question where this cash is coming from, has Woody put some money in?
And why wasn't it there in the summer? Feel like if we had invested this in our squad then we would be having a better season and the manager might not have decided to flounce.

Re your last paragraph, I was thinking exactly the same thing.
In the summer we looked an attractive option too.
Parish himself mentioned one player we approached in the spring who seemed unsure. However, Parish added that after the cup win that same player approached Palace to revisit the deal.
Now, in the last few days of the January window we again look to be in chaos mode.

It really is bizarre.
