Maybe with Ollie telling him....no heroes....just side one, maybe two, then shoot or cross it...no heroics!!Would be decent coming on in 84 minutes.

You probably right.....I don't think glasner has time for heroes.. question answered I supposeHe would be a massive disruptive influence. We have a team that are all together and trust each other.
England
Exactly. Wilf was used to being the star man in a mediocre/poor team. IMO he wouldn't cope with a team set-up of the ilk Glasner has put together. He would be a massive disruptive influence. We have a team that are all together and trust each other.

No way. He's a legend. Let's remember him as that but he's past it now and we've moved on.Wilf back training with Palace, he's without a club ATM.
SIGN HIM!!
33 years of age, failed at Galatasaray, bang average at Lyon, didn't even pull up any trees at Charlottesville?Wilf back training with Palace, he's without a club ATM.

Agreed, we had his best years a long time ago now. He did used to niggle me though how he was so easy to wind up. Other teams got to know if they roughed him up a bit early on he wouldn’t want to know the rest of the game. He didn’t have it in him to pay them back the right way, by getting hold of the ball and scoring a bloody goal, he just went missing33 years of age, failed at Galatasaray, bang average at Lyon, didn't even pull up any trees at Charlottesville?
Absolutely a big fat no thanks!

How would he fit in to the present starting 11?

When we used to play Southampton, you could see that James Ward-Prowse was solely purposed to wind Wilf up. It worked a treat every time.Agreed, we had his best years a long time ago now. Shame because everyone loved Wilf and he could’ve done so much more for us

Troy Deeney has always admitted they used to take it in turns to kick him so the worst they got was a bookingWhen we used to play Southampton, you could see that James Ward-Prowse was solely purposed to wind Wilf up. It worked a treat every time.

That's refreshing to hear, he's bang on and not talking through red and blue tinted glasses... that's wilf to a T.Sage didn’t like him at Lyon. In an interview he said Wilf had poor non verbals and was too negative. This was seen as a weakness in both the Home dressing room and also because the opposition saw it too and fed off it.

Until he scored a last minute winner at their place. 👍😂When we used to play Southampton, you could see that James Ward-Prowse was solely purposed to wind Wilf up. It worked a treat every time.
