I'm just pleased that someone anyone has confidence in us.We stutter through over 2 legs v Larnaca and most other games we’ve been pretty average (and that’s being kind) yet still remain favourites I’ve gambled for over 50 years and it’s badfing this old guy

Because exactly that, we’re stuttering scraping our way through the tournament, not playing that great, yet we’re still in it, which says it all about the quality of teams we’re playing. We stutter through over 2 legs v Larnaca and most other games we’ve been pretty average (and that’s being kind) yet still remain favourites I’ve gambled for over 50 years and it’s badfing this old guy
Calm down dear, you're getting really wound up. Have a drink. Chill a bit. Maybe try and make some friends? 🤣The irony being that my original post was all about exactly why we are favourites to win the cup, yet you chose to highlight the caveat and moan about it.
A 'moan about everything and try to deride others because I'm unhappy with my own life and feel insignificant' guy, as demonstrated by many of your posts. Glad I don't know you.
It is partly - if not mainly - because the odds you see are set by 'British' bookmakers. They know that the majority of bets they take on the Conference League will be from punters based in Britain, and therefore the majority are likely to be on Crystal Palace, so they set the price accordingly as shorter than the rest and shorter than they perhaps should be.
This is also why England are invariably at shorter odds than they should reasonably be for the World Cup/Euros - most of the bets placed will be (patriotically or otherwise) on England, so bookmakers factor that in when making the market.

We would have to ask SkyThe French 'EPL'(LFP) have granted Strasbourg request to postpone their league game away to Brest because it comes between their Conference league 1/4 final matches v Mainz. If they progress they will be allowed same again. Can't see the FA/EPL allowing us to do that.

Both PSG & Strasbourg have had their requests rubber stamped & their respective league matches have been moved to Mon 13th.Have they though, or is a decision still pending? Lens, which faces PSG in another league match has spoken against such postponements. You are right though, if granted, it is something that the EPL would never allow.
