Who would you vote for?

If there was a general election who you you vote for?

Reform are expected to make significant gains in the forthcoming local elections on 1st May.
The question is whether they can run local authorities, either on their own or in partnership, with a minimum degree of competence.
This is uncharted territory for Reform who only has a handful of councillors across the country and has never come close to running a local authority.
Farage will face humiliation if his councillors fail abysmally in local government and I suspect they will face harsher scrutiny from the media than any other party.

Couldn't do worse than Birmingham, Nottingham or Woking

Well several days on and Reform is winning by a landslide. More than double the amount of any other party!

Do you think this forum is representative of the electorate? You're going to be as disappointed as you would be if they did form a government and proceed to tear up everything whilst fixing nothing (as like what is happening in the USA right now)

A lot of places and a lot of things need to be torn up. The lack of ever doing anything from the traditional parties will make Reform win. Plus, immigration and lack of integration are only going to be addressed by one party. That's if they actually do - rather than talk about it like Labour or Tory.

Haha! Brilliant! Hi jinx of the tallest order.

This poll is the equivalent of taking a poll of turkeys over bringing in Christmas early: only one outcome.

I'm still laughing, as it happens. I've definitely lightened up ffs.

Tbf, if the poll was between the Cons and Ref, then it would be more useful on these pages. Also tbf, what is the point of even putting the Labour party in the poll at all?

I see Labour's included though but Libs not.

And not even a 'none of the above' option.

A bit of fun indeed!

My point is that they won't address it. Farage even wrote off what people think they would be voting for with them, deporting who is already here.

He'll solve feck all whilst crushing the standard of living for most people as he takes an axe to public services and regulation in an effort to "free up the markets". If I believed he was genuinely capable of tackling these issues without screwing over the average Joe then he'd have my vote, but he won't. You would see a greater shift of wealth to the wealthiest, and you'll end up having to pay private for services that used to be on the tax bill, not that your tax will have gone down at all to compensate.

No Reform voter is going to consider this.

Yep. I do believe there would be no challenge to the tax-evading multi nationals (all legal!, they scream), no challenge to the pernicious tax havens: legal and morally bankrupt.

A poll is the result of how those eligible to vote voted. Just the same as local elections and the General Election.

It doesn’t really matter what I think, it is how those eligible to vote voted and the results are there for all to see.

Why bother including Liberals? Any point in voting for them?

Farage last offered 'change' with brexshit. Look what's happened.

He's full of s***, that's the issue with what he offers, in reality.
A politician who is full of s***.

Really?

And who will you be voting for?

In the latest Conservative membership survey, Robert Jenrick has opened up a 60 point gap over Kemi Badenoch in the Shadow Cabinet league table.
Robert Jenrick is starting to break decisively away from the rest of the pack.
I voted for Jenrick in the leadership contest.
