I actually agree. In my eyes, Parish is the one that always wants the best for Palace. Yes he’s pragmatic in doing so, but I do truly believe he has the right intentions. Love Oli for what he’s done for our club, will go down as an immortal when time heals this situation and we look back so fondly on him but I’m backing Parish here all the way.

Agreed. Parish still hasn't apologized for the fuckup he and Textor made re Europe. All he did was give an interview whingeing about how the decision was against the 'spirit of the game'. That could be a sliding-doors moment. Even Parish and the board would have realized we needed to invest to have competed well in that competition and it has vastly bigger returns plus the lure of the Champions League: after all Spurs won it. Unlikely we would be in the current state if had just done his well-renumerated job

I expect the sensible thing to do, was to take a beat. Let the emotions drain a little and start working through all the issues this morning.
