What's the point of Wharton?

Both Thursday and today, Adam seems to offer very little. Always in space and can be relied on for the odd touch (but rarely more than one) and he does nothing to break up the opposition. Not interested in tackling and seems far less committed to work than our other 10 on the pitch who put in a shift.

Well you've given me a good laugh on the train home from the game!

The only question we should be talking about regarding Wharton is how long can we keep him at the club. Clearly he will take over Rice's boots for England and follow the same path.

Don't all jump him for this post. It in fact, is extremely clever, in the event that Man U or Real Madrid scouts frequent this forum, they will be put off trying to sign him.

Yeah mate...he is CRAP.

Adam Wharton enables everyone else in the team to play better.

Other clubs missed him because he doesn't have the physical attributes data driven football analysis demands.

You dont need speed and physicality if you can control the game.

talent on a par with Olise. Absolute pleasure to watch him play.
