Before the pill, before feminism and before the state decided to play the role of father / financial provider, women had to be very careful.

We all know they love a bad boy but back in the day most women were careful and once the teenage hormones had settled down they looked for a keeper.

Today women can play the field and if they have a baby with an unsuitable male so what, the state will provide.

Plenty of good blokes out there who will love and cherish, it's a woman choice if they can see past the obvious.

Time for football.

Social media highlights the worst aspects of people.

Once upon a time every village had "their" idiot, people would ignore them or just sigh. Unfortunately today the idiots have discovered social media and even worse made friends with the idiot in the next village so now they have a voice.

I'm all for freedom of speech, but sometimes, sometimes...

It's mostly harmless, even if echo chambers can sometimes hold people back from learning realities.

The real danger comes in the form of the dark web.

Evil also uses the Internet.
 
Anyone following the Lindsay Clancy? Sounds like the 3 men are having a rough time telling the other women that murdering your children is bad in the jury.

I can understand someone being mental and doing something terrible. However, what is clearly unfair is if it was a babbling man dressed as Napoleon and speaking Babylonian, then the world would be calling for his head. Worryingly probably me too.

Crazy amount of psyche drugs that woman was on. You'd get a weekend at a festival out of that.

It really seems the all too usual mental health failure to me. Not the bullshit ones we see suddenly brought up after stabbing a few people. A genuine ongoing problem. I'm not following it particularly closely so could just be wrong.
