What women really want.....?

the rate of suicide for men is 400% that of women's. Probably always was. Which is ironic cos women are far more prone to crying and depression. Blokes are more stoic, we look strong on the outside. We smile at the City drinks party and then go home on the last train and hang ourselves in the garage ( true story of an old mate of mine).

What men want ? as previously discussed. We are simple creatures with predictable needs. If two blokes attend a party wearing the same fashion, they may not even notice. Two birds with the same dress ? mayhem.

what women really want ?

You decided to join the thread to post that?

Well done.

Well, your post annoyed me considering how you started on here.

You have absolutely no leg to stand on criticising someone else on that score.

It still annoys me that I had to waste a proportion of my evening pushing back on that deluded drivel that you posted on here. Even now I can't believe you actually were taken in by that.

If a minor exchange on a messageboard still occupies that much of your brain, I’d really, really recommend some new hobbies.

Either engage with the topic or don’t.

Er no. I know that's another thing that watching "adolescence" showed you.

I never watched Adolescence. I refused to watch it.
It was obvious propaganda from a corrupt mainstream media which. If they had any courage or integrity, should have prioritised a programme about the recent Southport murders and associated issues which cause far more deaths and destruction (which ironically does also include misoginy in the mix).

The whole culture war is another obvious manipulation and distraction. Turning women against men through feminism (and now men against women through your sort of BS) suits them very well. Birth rates collapsing, families torn apart ...while the regime continues on its insidious agenda.

And here you are ...with your algorithm-driven anger, bitterness and psychosis doing a perfect job for them by turning your hatred on 'all women' - which by definition includes your own sisters, girlfriends, nieces and Aunts.
Well done.

A bit narcissistic to think it 'occupies that much of your brain' when all it takes is to see the post and note who it's from and see the contradiction.

I resent having to push back on absurd stuff and you argued the toss on that for hours.

I just think that when it comes to this particular point (being convinced by something with very little evidence and then doubling down) that in an objective sense, you aren't in a position to criticise.

I'm sure Spindle and McAhuna would get on just fine in a personal sense.

You chaps agree on 90 percent of politics but just clash on here over minor stuff.

Text can often see people falling out far more easily than one to one.

Given how often you seem to go back to it, I think it’s a reasonable observation.

‘Being convinced of something’ (ie having an opinion) is not a point in itself - everyone has been wrongly convinced of something in their life - it doesn’t negate you disagreeing with someone on an entirely different topic, obviously.

That is a terribly stupid and weak argument, that you’ve obviously felt the need to try and make because one of your little gang is taking a pasting on the thread.

Contribute to the thread or don’t - stop the lame distraction tactics.

Only for this point.

Fair to disagree with someone but it was the particular criticism you made which seemed to ignore your own fallibility.

Is Spindle taking a 'pasting'? I doubt it, but I wasn't that into the argument if I'm honest, I just saw that particular post and reacted to it.

I made a point, if you regard it as a distraction that's for you. All that matters is whether it was accurate. If you want to go back to your argument feel free.

I seriously doubt we would get on. I wouldn't introduce someone like that to any female friends or family for a start.

As for the politics, I'd put it closer to 40%. He spouts propagandised, simplistic nonsense on Ukraine, Iran, Gaza and other subjects I have probably forgotten.
There are not many on here that fall below 40%, except Wisbech Eagle of course - holding steady at 0%.

Plus - I wouldn't have said any of these subjects are minor - quite the opposite.
Our ability, as individuals, to influence them is minor, but we are all part of a society and our thoughts and actions contribute to the direction it goes in.

Back on topic, another recent case of a woman killed by an ex-partner: Bristol explosion: Jo Shaw died after ex Ryan Kelly 'forced way into house'

It remains true that a woman killed in the UK is most likely to be killed by a partner or ex partner.

Yes, the main non-work related thing I am dealing with in real life (apart from fretting about Leipzig tickets) is the violent, domestic abuse of my wife's friend by her male partner (a West Ham fan, if its relevant).

What do women really want?
A lot of them just want a safe refuge. Some men too of course.
