What was your first video game console/computer?

My first venture into gaming was a Sinclair Spectrum ZX linked into a portable cassette tape player with the games played through the TV. I can't remember the games except a favourite was a typical space rocket shooter. The Spectrum is in my loft somewhere.

I had one of the old original style Atari ones that I 'acquired' second hand for and unpaid debt. It only played Pong and was a nightmare if the TV signal was not good when you tried to run it. It also 'jammed' at regular intervals if you played too fast......(which was anything more than one bounce every 10 seconds)

Sounds like Sting's love life.

Had Spectrum 48k, Commodore 64, Amiga 500, Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive, Playstation One, Playstation Two, XBOX, XBOX 360 and then decided I didn't have time for all that. Sometimes I toy with the idea of a Playstation 5 but don't think I'd get the time to enjoy it.
I play FM as Crystal Palace religiously on a gaming laptop.
Favourites were my Spectrum and Commodore. The 1.99 games in the newsagent were just great

Similar to Guntrisoft, I think I had an Ingersoll thing that played football, tennis, and a couple of other variants. Mostly I remember it was a lovely beige colour and the handsets kept breaking.
Our TV was black and white, so the picture was too. I think it was a Black and White console , as coloured variants were more expensive

I played ‘Donkey Kong’ on an Artari computer that my uncle had given me.
