What is the point of Harris and Blitzer.

This thread just made me wonder is a Harris takeover still ongoing? Would explain a lot of uncertainty. And no other director is going to put money in whilst in the process of being bought out. Harris would have to risk it on his own and presume the takeover goes ahead. Or, money would only be available to the club through sales.

When they came into the club it was clear they had no interest i spending SP even came out with this in an interview but he was desperate.

They ring fenced around 80m which was suppose to go to stadium so what happened to that it has clearly been wasted and sounds like SP miss sold the whole stadium. (80m back then was a lot of cash as well)

When we was desperate these 2 did give the club funds.

People made Tex to be the bad guy yet he was the only one who was willing to pump funds into the club and try push it forward. (I believe had he been in sooner we would have had a new stadium)

Woody I wonder if was just a quick option and had no interest in holding the amount of shares he has the guy is smart and owning the same as Tex with only 1 vote is not smart business.

Apparently worth over £13 Billion and owners for 10 Years, yet we have no stadium development and only 14 ready to go first team players. What is their point? What do they do?
They sit on the money they invested, and sell at the right time for a substantial prophet, with i would think is when our player sales have enough money to build the new stand, then double their money without reinvesting more, they wanted Chelsea or Manure,They are not idiots like Jordan and Goldberg

If this is the case then they are the worst possible bedfellows for Palace, owners who just sit on their hands and hope that minimum investment equals share value increase.

They are exactly the sort of owners we don’t want in football.

Presumably they offered us some sort of financial security against the dark days of administration and their backing of Parish may have prevented a Textor takeover, but in terms of progressing the club they offer very little.

To be fair, they progress our wallets into their bank accounts each season.

Hopefully they will find a way to invest £250m + in the stadium and that it would return enough value in the short to medium term. Otherwise it's probably never happening.

Yes, without a doubt, Not even sure they know football uses a round ball

I don't think you have been paying attention on any major project - public or private - in recent times.

Take my local railway link from Portishead to Bristol. Talked about for decades. Finally pushed through. Money supplied and ring fenced. But by the time the last few obstacles (bats, amphibians etc.) are cleared, the money is inadequate as it has been stripped by inflation.

Same with us. Private investors supplying a precise sum, ring fencing it and then the sum is not enough.

The richer clubs simply stump up the difference and get on with it. My concern is that Donner und Blitzen do not. And they are the only ones who can... till now?

H & B have provided funding when it's been NEEDED (i.e in order to protect their investment against relegation). They're not going to provide funding to satisfy our desires unless they see that such loan funding could see them earn an even bigger return on their investment. They are first and foremost investors.

That rail link is nothing like building a stand.

I know people who work on both project types and rail ones are very complex.

Stadium ones can be done fairly quickly if everyone is onboard with it and funds available around 2 years.

Again the club is run by SP why don't people get this the other 2 have nothign to do with it which is why they put SP in that position and I said it many times he is not a good business man you got to work the system he doesn't do this so everything takes so long also he doesn't want to use any of his own cash the guy takes.

The Notts Forest fans appear to be happy with having a crook in charge.
They would be wouldn't they? He splashes the cash. We saw how little time it took Newcastle to not care. And I can't imagine Man City fans or Chelsea fans care too much either.
It will catch up on him one day. In truth, I doubt he's a massive life expectancy from the looks of him.
