Transfers aren’t always simple but you can’t argue that other clubs don’t do this better than we do.

Repeatedly.

Season after season.

You also can’t argue our transfers were anything other than a mess this summer and it has hurt us.

We are not a Chelsea with lots of money but that doesn’t explain why clubs like Brentford for example seem to be able to manage their offseason much better than we do.

Munoz and Wharton weren't too bad in January. You dont hear about other clubs dud signings, Brighton for example have had loads amongst their successful ones.

Sorry to be clichéd but while this is disappointing it's better than rushing him back before he's ready. Ideally we can win a game or two before he's back so he's coming into a team on the up. Blind optimism, I know.
