We should take it as a compliment. Everyone predicted us to win and we did so nothing to see here. Shows how far we’ve come.
 
Yesterday, and indeed his form this season, shows the importance of retaining Guehi.
Against West Ham his prodigious leap and header against the bar led to the first goal.
During the game he again demonstrated his ability to switch the play with long accurate passes to Munoz as well as an ability to cross from deep positions to the far post.
A Rolls Royce of a player who seems on occasions to be taken for granted.

In terms of our unbeaten run I'm reminded of the golfer Gary Player's retort when told he was 'lucky.'
Player said the more I practice 'the luckier I get.'
Every game demonstrates the hard work and practice on the training field which is reaping dividends
This includes corners, set pieces and long throw ins.
It was a real bugbear of mine with Hodgson how poor our set pieces were.
The contrast now is marked and we are one of the top scorers in the Premier League from corners as a result of the efforts on the training ground.
No doubt next week we'll also be working on defending near post corners which have resulted in concession of goals in the last two games.

A player on the back stick would be useful.
The only down side is on a return ball keeping them onside.

Lucky is where a string of games where VAR ref blunders woodwork deflections injuries etc works in our favour.

No evidence of that.

In fact yesterday we could have won by more but for the bar..

We are lucky because we are unfashionable and should not be where we are.
 
West Ham look to have some very small players and that morgue of a stadium seems deserted when its full the two together point to why they are so unsuccessful.

We seemed miles fitter than them but also didn't have to do much in the end. They were either unfit, unmotivated or had given up. We should have won by more as they seemed to do nothing for the last 20 minutes.

The Mitchell goal deflated them.Potter lacks a host of managerial skills such as motivation.
