Sarr should be back as well really could do with him.
The new signings look lightweight going to take them fair bit of time.
I would love to beat Liverpool but don't see it happening a draw at best. (I really hope I end up wrong we win)
This West Ham was terrible and I am starting to see a pattern with teams around our level or below they have sort of figured us out (We are setup to play against bigger teams not ones we need to control play)

Third on MOTD for a change but clearly only interested in the crisis at Wet Spam and Potter’s future. Zero analysis of Palace’s performance and not even a mention of how well we’re doing or where we are in the league. What have they got against us?

Haven’t watched the replay to see what others where doing so Not sure if he was the only one ball watching , but Adam was just in front of him and goal side , and when when Bowen headed the ball was watching him and had a “ oh sh%* , when did he make that run , maybe I should have been ….” Look in his face .
If I’m correct and his initials were RE , he would have been hauled off ….

The post match interviews were great. It’s clear the players were so happy for T. Also Mateta is such an encorouging person. Looking forward to Liverpool next week.
It's more like 2015/16 when we had 9pts from 4 games and had the league leaders at home. Man City won 1-0 in the 90th minute when Iheanacho scored a minute after he came on
I am still surprised how Mitchell does not get an England call up. Mitchell has been a regular starter for the past 5 seasons if you also include this season. He has earned his place for World Cup 2026 in a position where you can argue he is the best option currently. Djed Spence can play LB but he has not had the same consistency as Tyrick. This is his 2nd season and last season he had 25 appearances in the EPL. Only Left Back who starts ahead of him is Lewis Skelly but he has not really featured this season for Arsenal.
Today also showed the importance of Wharton. He has everything breaking up play, passing, controlling tempo of games, good set piece taker etc... I hope he becomes England's starter with Rice. But knowing Tuchel would not surprise me if he starts Henderson or Anderson ahead of him...

Watched game in the West Ham section near the half way line, all I could hear where fans saying Whartons name and “don’t give him time and space”.
I thought it was a pretty good performance and Pino had a bit more time than he did against Millwall. Unlucky not to score,his shot only just deflected over the bar.
Had a nosebleed when we went 4th….

Wharton is brilliant. Those first time passes from defence outlet to attack between the lines, mostly successful, are something I am not seeing from any English midfielder. He was heavily involved, and yes some don't come off, but they cause a great deal of danger to the opposition.
It was notable how many were to Yeremy too, he takes up positions where he's available.

Glasner just said it was his knee and will have a scan. Really hoping it's not the same knee/problem that kept him out for a whole season before!
Why would you want Mitchell in the England set up, as soon as our players are, they want to leave!

I certainly do not find Rooney's punditry interesting or enlightening.
The 91 team still holds such a hold of my heart. This team is catching them up fast. MG totally committed and with Richards and Lacroix we have such a solid base to work from.
I know we will lose a s*** load of cash if Marc stays the whole season but the knowledge that the new kid we got in the window will get being around those 3 all season plus the return of Riad, I think it is money well wasted and will see us well in the future.
On a side note, MG is built like captain America (noted when his shirt is soaked) but have noticed Lacroix has been hitting the gym with him as he is noticeably bulkier this season.
Back to the team… I genuinely think we could do something special (again) this season. Wouldn’t it be ironic to miss the Europa league out completely and land in the champions league… a man can dream.
