West Ham question for those who went

I noticed that they didn't read out our line-up. Talk about arrogant!

In 30 years of going to football grounds across the country (and a couple of times abroad), I don't think I've ever been somewhere where they've not announced the away team's personnel.

Did anyone else notice this? Have you ever come across it before?

So they lost at home to nobodies. 🙂
They're a bunch of nobodies, and mainly journeymen. If they were all lined up I could probably name Bowen, Wilson, Paqueta and Ward-Prowse, that's about it.

Not exactly Bobby Moore, Alvin Martin, Billy Bonds, Geoff Hurst, Phil Parkes, Alan Devonshire, Trevor Brooking, Martin Peters etc who were household names.

But still, they're absolutely massive apparently 🤣🤣

Oh, and Wan Bissaka obviously

The West Ham way won the World Cup. Always remember that. It never gets boring.

Only been to a rugby match at The sh*t stadium. The sight lines were awful, the seats are too far from the pitch, we couldn't even hear the referees whistle.

I take it that is still the same for football?

If I tell the truth, I was a little jealous that they got a state of the art, free more or less, stadium. Now, I'm glad we have Selhurst and nothing like that.
I'd have probably thought that Palace should have taken that ground if offered. Not any more.
I've probably jinxed it now that we'll actually develop Selhurst (!!!!) and share with them for two seasons. Although it looks like we could be a league higher. Jinx.

Truthfully, they are a "bigger" club than us and probably always will be.

Would I swap. Would I feck!

Since they’ve been at that monstrosity of a ground they think they’re on a different level to us, they think they’re up there with Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs as the biggest clubs in London, so it really pains them to lose to the likes of us, especially as it happens quite a lot.
I expect they look down their noses at Brentford and Fulham in the same way.

It’s a soulless festering pit of arrogance now and the flat cap wearing chavs deserve their crap owners

They appear to rely on tourists and casuals to sell out. One suspects if they had 40-45k stadium with committed fans and better stadium for football they would be better for it
