West Ham Predictions

I anticipate a close game with one goal either way deciding it.
Hopefully Mitchell can keep Bowen quiet, and other than that the main risk seems to be set pieces where their two centre backs, Soucek and strikers are all proficient at attacking the ball aerially.

In their next game, Tottenham are away to Wolves who have lost their last 2 games, 4-0 and 3-0, in actual fact they have conceded 12 goals in their last 4 matches.
Should Tottenham win at Wolves this will give them a real fillip and could be the catalyst for further successes.
But they still won’t catch us, they need 3 wins 2 draws just to get to what we’ve got now and I can’t see us losing all our last 7 games anyway even if we do have a bit of a mare of a run in we’ll scrape a couple more points I think

They could easily win 3 and draw 2 and that would be enough if they could turn around the goals scored, which is possible over 5 games if we lose all of our games.

I'm not saying it will happen, but it is not as unlikely as some might think. A win tonight would put it to bed...Almost.

And for the doubters. West Ham went down with 42 points in 2002/03.

I think we'll find out what we're made of tonight. Have we really turned a corner or did we just manage to string a few steps together and are back to our second-half-of-the-season limp. I'd love it if we could find our groove again. 2-0 Palace.
