West ham meltdown

West Ham must pay CSKA Moscow £13.5 million for Nikola Vlašić’s 2021 transfer.

CAS ruled in CSKA’s favour after the English club cited UK sanctions on Russia as a reason for non-payment.

They now have 45 days to pay or face a transfer ban..

Brilliant.
One goal in 31 games for them. Sounds like our kind of "attacking midfielder".

I thought West Ham won the argument that because of sanctions post Ukraine they couldn't pay CSKA and CAS agreed 2-1.

Whilst I dislike Wet Spam this meltdown by their fans is too early for my liking. It still gives them time to get a new manager in and escape relegation via the January window. We know all about that.

I would prefer them to limp along with hope then crash and burn in February 😀

The situation at West Ham is dire and it only goes to show that Graham Potter is an incompetent football coach who has no place in a Premier League club.

There were times when we were struggling with Roy at the helm when folk on here dared to suggest he would be an ideal candidate for Palace. Count your blessings lads because there's no chance Mr P would consider him now.

I thought potter was overrated at Brighton even, it said it all that season when they had forty odd attempts at goal to our two over the two league games and we took four points off them

When the weeds were loving him and thinking they were going to win the league despite needing us to protect them from being relegated (Cardiff away etc) I was always having to explain to those duped by Potterball that it was in fact, shite.

The style relied entirely on players that were good at keeping the ball and passing it, but not creating or finishing it. Brighton could attract players who could do that but they could do little else, and the outcome in games was 65% possession, even against some fine teams, but the penetration of a paraletic teenager - the only real attempts being long range speculative shots.

I could've saved Chelsea and West Ham a fortune if their chairmen would've just given me a call.

Eh? That shows him to be a good coach that they outplayed us twice. Can't really blame him that their shooting was inept!!

I don't rate him either but surely a better example would be last season at their place when they didn't create a single chance.
