Wanting Deano back will require patience. He will take a while to get up to full match fit and ability.

Back up goalkeepers in a nutshell. He is what he is. A decent back up keeper. Makes some good saves but is definitely a bit of a “dodgy keeper”. He’s not good enough to be number one but equally I doubt we’d get a better back up either.

Let's face it, we've seen what happens when you have 2 1st team keepers - one of them wants out - think Guaita and Johnstone or we release one - think Butland. Walter's at about the right level for a back-up keeper who isn't going to be asked to play that many games. He is what he is. A decent back up keeper. I consider the flack he is getting for Besiktas' second goal a little harsh: several challenges were missed in the build up, the shot was well hit from a central position and through a crowd of bodies.
I think he is a very capable goalkeeper who is playing in a side conceding goals in one of the toughest leagues and against some of the most talented forwards in the world.

Absolutely spot on.I can’t believe that the top top clubs haven’t come in for Henderson. Soo much better than a lot of the keepers at the top clubs.not sure I’d swap him for any of the other keepers , Allison is on the decline, donurumma has a big mistake in him and can’t see past Reyes teeth.
Think he’s a great keeper , just behind Martyn for me.
The biggest thing is how much he gets Palace. Loves Palace , whilst all the others are slipping off, he signs a new contract.
Top keeeper , top man.
Uses my mates cafe in Chislehurst , he says he’s top class.
It will keep you fit lol , but maybe Deano may get the defence doing there job better. He is no.1 for a reason. But Walter at times does get himself in wrong positions more . Even the Brighton worldie standing on the edge of your box facing strong winds is a very dangerous game to play . He is a good back upI think as a back up Keeper he’s okay, he’s no Deano, but I wouldn’t want to be any keeper playing behind our defence at the moment

Yes he has got a touch of the Hennessey’s for poor positioning, but that’s an insult really, because he’s certainly a lot better than the statue🤣It will keep you fit lol , but maybe Deano may get the defence doing there job better. Deano without a doubt the better keeper but I still don't think he would have saved either which were down to awful defending more than Walter's positional errors. Deano has let one or two similar goals in. Excellent backup keeper though and doesn't deserve the stick that one or two of the back five probably do. Just my opinion though Mr PI have more confidence that Deano would have saved both goals last night. I like Walter and think he's a good goalkeeper to have as a back up to Deano, I'm glad he is getting some games but his positioning was off last night. He has made some amazing saves this season but also he has made quite a few errors that have cost us.
While to rest of the team are responsible for putting him under pressure, he is there to be the last line of defence and we clearly have a better keeper in Henderson and need him back..
