I read the other day he was unhappy and returning to his previous club, saving us £1.8m in wages. No point quoting the resource as it was about as reputable as me, but no club can keep two goalies happy. Put a kiddy goalie on the bench. Is Whitworth still with us?

Remember when we were all shocked we paid £20 million for Deano because we had an excellent number one in Sam Johnstone, they’ve both gone in different directions since

I liked him too, but in many ways you've proved my point. He legged it as soon as he was demoted to number 2. I don't think Palace can keep two goalies happy that both see themselves as potential first choices.
 
I think we need more info from the OP.

The only thing I can find is that he is unhappy at his lack of first team football and would like a move. He is an experienced goalkeeper who is coming to the end of his career and is not going to shift Hendo so I can't blame him for looking for another a job.

So I am none the wiser as to the OP's comments.

On Thursday, i posted in the 'our present squad' thread about WB, about going back to OCG Nice & buying out the remainder of his contract.
 
The most annoying thing for me is the price that is being mentioned. We should employ whoever does these negotiations for Brighton. (Oops, this comment really belongs on the Lacroix thread).

Much as probably none of us are particularly happy with Argentina, we're hardly going to turn on our own players. I actually thought Benitez got quite a few games and was happy with his performances.
We'd hardly say the same about Speroni either. He's one of our own. As someone pointed out.

I am fairly sure Speroni is mentioned in the bible and anyone bad mouthing him would be smote...smited...whatever the word is where God fries you for being a pr*ck.
