Trump has talked about negotiations to stop the fighting, he has urged both sides to avoid endless war. And has done the same for Middle East peace. No one wants Ukraine to lose, but diplomacy doesn’t always mean surrender it can mean finding leverage to save lives.

Trump is so obviously siding with Russia, I wonder what more could he do to make it more so. As such he's a pretty crap peacemaker.

Trump's push for negotiations does not mean he is siding with Russia. He is trying diplomacy to end bloodshed he is not picking who wins and who looses.

Nothing new about it - they've always been happy to dish it out but can't take it 🙂

Nobody puts him on block because of occasional insults.....when it comes to insults, despite his occasional whining he seems ok....though I have no idea how often he reports or not, only the mod team would know that.

Trump's probably going to have a deal to present to Ukraine.

They are probably going to reject it.....because it'll be far worse than what they could have had in 2022.

Trump's going to cut them off.

Russia will have their offensive and then set the borders.....after that, well I've always said the war ends this year....probably late summer.

I don't see Ukraine/Europe agreeing to anything.....To agree to a deal that recognises the reality on the ground just admits to their earlier mistakes and poor judgement.

Whatever way it's sliced the Ukrainians get trashed......which is the main tragedy.

You should report these personal insults, hopefully something will be done.

Well it depends. I have no problem with some of the milder insults (if you can call them that) as the forum chat gets into robust debate. The "report" function is for abusive comments (obscenity or vulgar words) and I think every one you have reported has not met that standard. The HOL should be a snowflake-free zone!
