Have you dismissed all the allegations made over Starmer?

It's funny how the left expect the right to have principles for things they don't have themselves.

I'm not even aware of anything Trump has been accused of that makes sense.

I do think there's something held on Trump by Israel, just as they hold stuff on others....but I'm not seeing anything so far.

You seem to have come back a bit lefty.

Regardless, are you seriously telling us that you took the Democrat's attempts to stop Trump running and also put him in jail in 24 seriously? You are aware that they left all this until election year.

Nothing that Trump did on business deals was anything different to what passes as the norm in real New York real estate circles, as indeed business leaders commented at the time......And people weren't being prosecuted.....Unless they were called Trump.

And you take all that seriously?

The US public certainly didn't.

How you feel about Trump is how I felt about the Democrat party over BLM/Antifa.

Sucks to have nothing but whining doesn't it.

Trump was a reaction to Obama......The US left of the 90s was far more conservative than today's US left, yet the US right roughly stayed where they were.

The left elected Obama and thus you got Trump in return.

Every action has a reaction.

I find the whole 'imaginary leftist man doesn't have principles so why should I' argument that you regularly make a very weak one.

Trump's name is all over the files, with many many allegations against him - I think it's incredibly unlikely he's just an innocent bystander in it.

It needs to be noted that these files contain all allegations made against anyone connected to this case. That includes the usual nut jobs. Nevertheless, despite your obvious focus upon only Trump, I remain open minded and believe investigation into the core of this must be done.....Regardless of right/left/whatever the politics involved.

Burn it all down if need be. There can be no favour when it comes to child abuse/sex trafficking. There cannot be favours towards republican nor democrat.

However, not to the extent that people are jailed upon mere suspicion and allegation.

Well firstly it's just a 'race to zero' logic - you can justify any behaviour of your own by finding someone who has done worst.
But more broadly, the all-encompassing nature of how you use 'the left' just means that you're not even using to argue against specific points or posters - it's so broad you can just apply it to any argument - typically you will take an extreme, minority view held by people or a person on 'the left' and suggest that justifies you in not being principled on something completely separate.

I just don't find it at all convincing - everyone could do the same thing and the end result would be the death of any sort of principle whatsoever.



Trump is the POTUS and probably the most named bloke in the files - of course he's going to bear the brunt of people's focus. I think people pretending this is unusual or somehow unreasonable are being very disingenuous.
