Last thirty years is a different debate ,the original “side step “ from topic was the claim that ‘ Liebour ‘ reckon Windrush helped rebuild Post war UK ,I believe Liebour have not lied .
Anyone who says they did not contribute is being obtuse quite frankly .
To get back to the topic US politics ,African slaves did contribute to the GDP and growth of the USA .
And one in three African slaves were Muslim .
To say the opposite is to be in the world of ‘alternative facts’ ,which remember was ushered in during Trumps first term .

It's all vague speculation used for political purposes. It can be argued that anyone alive at the time contributed to post-war reconstruction.

Are you saying that most of post war rebuild was pretty much done in 3 years ?

No I am saying that the boat Windrush has been politicised so that people who arrived here in the seventies are claiming to be the Windrush generation.
