Cheers, thanks for the explanation. A pithy slogan makes taking away juries just fine. I guess it was also fine when others did it. There can't possibly be anything wrong with it? You really want to tell me that you don't believe the Magna Carta stands for anything? - and yes I know its entire history. I would wonder if you were just a contrarian if you did that. I believe you support better, fairer justice. I feel it in you. I don't think you can repress it. Perhaps I'm entirely wrong? There is hope yet.

I can see your point on the Hitler stuff. I completely disagree. There is little point me going on about it as I would think even my hidden points are clear enough. There is no need to look for Hitler. He hides in plain sight. However, there are those so blind they cannot see - which rhymes with BBC. There's a pithy slogan too. It won't change the drastic change to fundamental rights being apparently accepted, welcomed even, by you. It's one of the worst ideas I've heard. And it worries me that it won't be changed when Reform get in. But I guess you'll still support it then? When the BBC says how unfair it is then but how great it is now, will you notice? Why ask, I ask myself.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make!

Of course the Magna Carta is important. It was the starting point for our journey to the working democracy we now have. It said that no one is above the law. It wasn’t though the finishing line. The way the law is administered matters but so does that it is done in a timely manner. I see no conflict whatsoever with Magna Carta by Judges being asked to decide cases themselves. They already do in many circumstances.

That it is nuts is beyond question, but go nuts? Of course not. You don’t go nuts because of such obvious narcissism. You pity it and resolve to rectify the consequences.

It’s far from just “the left” who can see this. It’s everyone with their eyes and ears open and a functioning brain.

This is an independent institute that the administration is trying to take over so it can suffocate criticism. Yet another sign of the growing authoritarianism in the USA. It’s locked in a legal battle. This action is insulting and petty.

No, I read both but yours claimed to be able to spot similarities between those with different opinions to your own and someone responsible for millions of deaths.
Just because a kid scores a goal in the park that doesn't make him Lionel Messi.
