It’s not intended as a report on any specific phenomenon. It’s an analysis of the mindsets of the right and left and how that correlates to their propensity to violence.That "deep" research was done before 2022. I think the data is actually from before 2018? which would only be half of Trump's first term.
Regardless of if it's 2022 or 2018 it misses two Trump assassination attempts and Charlie kirks assassination. It left out attacks on Ice and national guard.
It also misses numerous Islamic and trans terrorist attacks that have occured recently.
Violence exploded under the lefts "threat to democracy" and "Nazi" hysteria, not Trump's.
I would expect the numbers on both sides to swell when they aren’t in power. You tend not to protest against your own side.
