Why would they deploy five officers when resourcing problems mean a high percentage of burglaries are not investigated.

I don’t know where this best fits but here is an analysis from James O’Brien on LBC of how the media responded to Trump’s visit and whether we should regard it as a success. He is pretty forthright about Trump, but entirely accurate, and sympathetic about how we are being forced to pander to his ego and swallow our disgust at his record just because of the position he holds. I would love to be a fly on the wall when our politicians say what they really think about Trump to each other.

I doubt many here agree with this guy’s apparent political position but he makes some challenging points that are difficult, in my opinion, to disagree with:-
