People have often wondered why Trump didn't go after the far left organisations in his first term and wasn't going after them so far in his second despite continually whining about them......until the Kirk assassination.

It's because the far left help get him elected.....politicians live by focus groups and the republicans know that the fruitcakes and extremists on the Democrat side is a very worthwhile banner for them to point at during election cycles. The constant culture war helps them.

Silently there will be many on the mainstream left who will privately be glad to see Trump attacking the progressives as it will strengthen their place within the Democrats.....publicly they will of course condemn it in the strongest terms.

However, when elites themselves catch bullets then that's a whole different ball game.....I though the Trump assassination attempts would do this (but maybe there's something else to that I don't know). However the murder of the much loved Kirk has changed calculations......Especially since Trump doesn't have to personally worry about popularity now.

I think for organisations like Turning Point to continue to safely exist within universities the money behind far left 'Antifa' types of organisations are going to be looked at closely. The gloves might be coming off for them.

If they react violently it will play into Trump's hands.....of course they will.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the donors behind these organisations though.

The right are about to cancel people for celebrating violence and murder.

What are short men doing in the Guards? I thought that was meant to be one of the points of having Guards regiment, that they all looked tall.....the aesthetic is a big part of it.

Is this another fecking example of 'inclusion' sh1te in the military?

He'll be something like the CO or OC. In other words a high enough officer. The rules don't apply the same for them. The only ceremonial guarding they do, is guarding the brandy from the other officers whilst gaffawing about the commoners.

Trump is pretty tall, 6'3 I think.....probably more like 6'2 at his age now.

The officer isn't that short....I was more looking at some of the guys in the line. Some look way way under six foot....obviously most people are and I'm sure they are excellent soldiers, but there are so many regiments, what the hell are they doing in the Guards!

I have a feeling it depends on where you are guarding. However, last changing of the guards I saw had women and there aren't many 6ft ones. I suspect the Buckingham Palace ones may still be tall but couldn't tell you. I could look it up but can't be bothered.

Obama is completely correct. The USA faces a political crisis like it has not seen before and its President, instead of trying to stop it, is making it much worse.

Obama's words wont erase the evidence which is Discord chats, targeted note, DNA, and leftist slogans on casings.

Robinson's family have already confirmed his radical shift.

The pattern of leftist rage is clear and dismissing it only fuels the toxicity which you are now apart of.

Extremes aren't equal the data points to one side here.
 
While I'm no fan of our woke royals I have to admit I do rather admire the charm shift they are putting in regarding Trump and wife. I can't imagine they share anything at all with Trump but they are prepared to put all that aside for the good of the country.

I have time for that.

Slightly disappointed, thus far. I was hoping for a Trump hair malfunction, or even an appearance by Senior Royals, Harry and Meghan.
All seems to be going smoothly, even if the guards are a tad short, and Royal Etiquette has been dropped for Trump.
