US Politics

I am not so sure. Maybe 30 years ago.

There are prominent and popular conservative thinkers who are openly gay - Andrew Sullivan, Dave Rubin, and Douglas Murray.

Trump might lose a few votes from the religious right, but he might even gain some votes from the centre ground.

The zoomer right aren't particularly religious but they are traditional.

It's not the being gay aspect as much as you'd think.....What really matters is presenting yourself as straight but being bisexual. The image of Trump lies behind a lot of why people back him.....He represents that 80s/90s masculine culture and a lot of people like that.

Being what you present yourself as does matter.

Also, what would matter even more is blowing off Clinton......Sucking off the enemy? Big no-no.

I can feel wissie investigating this and coming back with Clinton only flew 22 times and donations were not that much etc. TDS overload incoming 😂
There are many better placed than I am investigating this. I hope they find the truth and that whoever committed illegal acts get prosecuted. Whoever they are or whatever their political affiliation.

Just so long as it is all and no one is excluded through Justice Department manoeuvres at the behest a corrupt President.

Trump has completely lost the plot.

He is calling for a group of Democratic Congressmen and women to face the death penalty for a truthful video they made advising service personnel that their loyalty is to the law and the constitution and not to the President, so they must refuse illegal orders. Trump describes this as sedition. It isn’t.

This puts those lawmakers in great danger. It also shows just how authoritarian Trump has become. Is ordering the sinking of the ships owned by a country you are not at war with, legal? Doesn’t seem likely to me.

Reading between the lines, you will be fine with it providing Trump is mentioned ( whether true or not).

Are you talking about the boats carrying drugs? If so, fully justified imo

For decades drug gangs and more importantly senior politicians have been exporting their poison to the west making money out of destroying peoples lives and laughing at us.

Now they are whining, Trump is correct these people have declared war on the US and the west. The US and Europe have tried to help these countries and it hasn't worked because the leaders are too busy getting a pay off from the gangs.

The carrot has not worked time for the stick.

No. I am talking about Trump describing perfectly truthful and legally correct statements by Democratic Congressmen and women as sedition and calling for their execution.

Telling servicemen it’s their duty to obey the law isn’t sedition. Telling them it’s their duty to ignore illegal orders isn’t sedition.

Whether Trump is issuing illegal orders regarding the boats suspected of drug carrying is another question. As is whether it’s justified. The two things not being identical.

What is clear is that he believes that servicemen should obey every order he gives, legal or not. Which is the attitude of an autocrat.

Servicemen owe their loyalty to the constitution. Not to any individual.

No they haven’t. Nor could they! War’s are declared by countries. Not by gangs.

There is a legally correct way to deal with some issues and quiet covert ways to deal with issues that are necessary but not legally manageable. Openly using military assets and then claiming credit isn’t either.
