Unfunny 'comedy'

Pretty much any comedy starring Adam Sandler (although I did like how he won the Razzie for worst actor and worst actress for Jack & Jill - only time I've laughed when he's been involved).

1. Those Jokey laughy bits in Shakespeare plays. When the characters laugh with each other.

2. Most comedy quiz shows

3. the link below.

what others ?

Anything that happens at Wimbledon. The ball gets tangled in the net, a player pretends his racquet is a banjo or offers it to a ball boy after a bad shot, a pigeon lands on court and the crowd are all coughing up their kidneys at the hilarity.
Any West End show described as a "genuine laugh riot".

Probably on my own but virtually anything Rowan Atkinson has done.

I thought Mr Bean and Blackadder was completely unfunny, boring and completely overrated.

I did quite enjoy 'The thin blue line' but that was mainly down to the other people in the show.

Sorry but I also have to change channels any time Rosie Jones is on some comedy show, only there because she has cerebral palsy and no one has the balls to tell her she isnt funny and people dont even know what shes saying half the time in case the Woke police come knocking.

The first minute of this clip. All the characters p1.$sing themselves laughing at a totally unfunny speech.

Shakespeare. If you can understand the jokes then you are a better Eagle than me.

PS. Ian McClelland totally nails this role - a brilliant villain. Better than Gandalf.

Stand up comedians. Can't stand them.
I have no time for the modern day 'Alternative' comedians most of whom appear to be left-wing.
To my mind they have mastered the art of not spouting anything bordering on comical.
I used to rejoice at the 'Stand Up' comedians of yesteryear which had me cackling akin to a well-fed hyena and guffawing louder than the engines on Harrier jump jets.

My family
Miranda
Last of the summer wine
Gavin and Stacey
The Vicar of Dibley(Shame because I love Dawn French)
Citizen Khan
The Cockfields
Friday night dinner
King Gary
The Cleaner

Absolutely anything with David Jason.

Sometimes the comedy slot on R4 is filled with a black woman talking "comedically" about her parent's difficult past in racist Britain. Delivery is poor, white stereotypes abound, a criminal waste of license fee but, worst of all, the well meaning white woke audience forcing a laugh where they guess she has told a joke.

Arthur Askey, Max Wall, Tommy Cooper, Norman Wisdom.

Jo Brand. Careful here given her peerless taste in football teams, but she is awful on stage. She is a lot of fun in conversation though. She should stick to that medium.

May I respectfully refer you to Geoff Norcott, one who bucks that trend (and is actually funny)
