this is kinda how i feel too. Even the Champions League has some shyte teams in the early stages. And our chances of winning that are almost zero.
The Conference is something we can genuinely win. Another nice bit of silverware and direct entry into the Europa League the following year. The Europe League itself is a tough one to win. Prestigious, yes but a very tough nut to crack. Especially for any team below European-Giant financials.
Talented players considering signing for us this summer ? For any medium sized Prem-club, our probability of starting in the 2026 Europa League is at least as good as anybody else. Surely that will attract talent ? over and above them going to West Ham, Everton, or whoever else ?
