UEFA Conference League Dynamo Kyiv v Palace Match Thread

I was making this observation in a conversation only yesterday and I have articulated this on a few occasions. It would be a significant blow if Munoz was unavailable.
A lack of a goal threat from midfield is also a concern.Pino has not arrived with a creditable goal scoring record and Wharton for all his outstanding ability is not known for his goalscoring ability.
Hughes has only scored a solitary goal for us in over 100 PL appearances.
Great header to assist the assist for last weeks winner though.

Yet he could have easily had about half a dozen goals already for us, he certainly gets in the positions to score. Hopefully once he gets off the mark we might see a few more from him

I just wish he didn’t remind me of that ‘orrible little Wimbledon and Chelsea s*** Dennis Wise 🤣
That's what we used to call a 5 foot putt if it was particularly nasty.

The other key player in the system is Munoz, who dominates the right hand side and provides much of the attacking thrust in the team.
We don’t have a ready made option if Munoz is unavailable for any reason.

This is the very point I was making some years ago when Wardy was our resident Right Back.

As much as I love Wardy and he is without doubt a club legend, I was saying consistently on here that in his final two seasons that his pace had gone and his lack of attacking contribution was costing us disproportionately. The benefits of a forward pressing, quick, attacking fullback were always going to have a huge impact on our play in general and not just down the right hand side. The arrival of Munoz has been absolutely massive for us.

Just a note that there is an HF display for the next European Home match. Donations via the normal portal.

Hopefully something that upsets the Arab who is interfering with European football.
