This thread has deteriorated quickly.

As a US citizen who is directly impacted by these events, I am cautiously optimistic about the future direction we are heading in the next few years.

From 2020 to today I can say with confidence that millions more Americans agree with me.

Yes and it's because Trump says things Americans like to hear. Trouble is I don't think he has in reality

I've no reason to suspect that I will be unhappy this time round.

The left suck and frankly they deserve every bit of the angst and coping they are displaying. In my view it is fully deserved. Most of their criticisms of Trump are double standards anyway with many of them projections.

Now the American lefties can experience the summary of all their TDS work, which more than anything ensured that Trump regained the White House. If their IQs were anything as large as their egos he wouldn't have even beaten DeSantis to the nomination......but they just couldn't help themselves.

Just got back from a group holiday. On my tour was an American doctor she told me that she and her friends hate Trump (dramatic pause) "still he will be good for the economy, which is why we hate him so much".

Specifically the pardoning of family and friends (some pre-emptive),
Then the attempted sabotaging of Trumps Administration taking the reins, with new legislation, etc. that Trump now has to reverse.

It does make you wonder who was steering the Democrats ship
