Trepidation for the 26/27 Prem season ?

Someone asked about my antipathy towards Parish for the Fofano disaster. Well I answered that. But in addition, who wastes 100 million on Johnson and Larsson, two reserves for relegation teams? Think how much better we could have spent that this window?
Wow what a selective memory. Not only are your negative comments inaccurate you fail to point out how much profit Parish has amassed (and reinvested) over the last 10 years. In terms of what we paid for them we have accumulated huge profits on Olise, Andersen, Eze, Lacroix, Munoz just off the top of my head. There are others if I think about it. He even sold Marc for £2m more than we paid for him and his contract had run out!
Johnson didn't work out. It happens but no one would have been surprised if he'd done ok, scored a few goals and was still here today. You are a liar if you're going to try and tell me you knew Johnson was going to fail. Nobody else knew that including Glasner.
As for Strand-Larson what are you even talking about? He's only been with us half a season and has not been given a long run of games in the team. When he has played he has generally been surrounded by our second string of creative players meaning he has not enjoyed the service JPM always gets (and misses most of them). Everyone else seems to know and accept this as fact but you seem to think you know better?
We have had a really good window for adding depth to the quality we already have so I'm not too sure how you seem to think you could have done better?

Unfortunately, I am pretty good at maths. We spent close on 100 million for these two duds. Less than we could spend in this window. Yes, we did well with the players you mentioned but they were to do with Dougie Freedman, not Steve Parish.
So, It's Dougie(not Parish) when we done well, but Parish(Not Hobbs) when we done bad?
Buck stops with Parish. If he is responsible for agreeing to but those Hobbs recommends, he's also responsible for those Freedman recommends

Another myth. Dougie Freedman worked on most deals and negotiated the contracts. You dont honestly believe Freedman scouted, found, identified and signed every single successful player that came through the door do you? Many of the players we signed are through contacts at other clubs, recommendations from ex players, coaches, even current players.
Freedman did a good job. Sorry to break it to you. He wasn't God

83 million.. ok
And how good are they?
I am something way more than the occupations you described by the way.
Like people who design tools to make things for submarines or airplanes , so unless your a surgeon or any of the associated with it wouldn't think so , hang on got it your a MP there thinking is the same

With all the new signings it will take time for the manager to find his best team. I am hoping he can sort this out by the time we welcome (?) Forest in a week or two.

If you don't think it was Dougie and his team of scouts doing the job and scouting the best they can find and earning the club 200m+ who do you think it was, Father Christmas, FFS what an ignoramus.

Back to the original title of this thread…

I now have no Trepidation for the season. Our new players will shine. Our old players will stop moaning and be professional and let’s face it, we’re only 6 points behind Arsenal. If we finish six point behind Arsenal at the end of the season we will have done alright

Viva La Palace

I heard some weird stuff went on where they got Johnson and we got McNeil. No money changed hands but Johnson’s value above McNeil offset our spending or something!
In another post there was an article i just read that explained it was a swap deal but we save a massive amount in wages. We probably got off light to be honest. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say it didn’t work and move on which I am glad we did. How many other times have Palace hung it out hoping somebody would come good only for it to never happen.
