Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace match thread

[JHB]

Our brave resistance lasted ten minutes. This team is pathetic. Sack Sage or we are nailed on for relegation. He simply cannot organise a defence

[Spindle]

f***ing hopeless

[ASCPFC]

Wtf is going on with the marking

What is marking?

[Plaistow Eagle]

Going to be another long hard watch. Sage has got to go - we’re in the bottom 3.

Enough is enough..!!

[eaglesdare]

At least dyche will cheer us all up Monday morning.

[WJK1960]

Sage cannot get a break. Two sent off in 9 matches, both getting 3 match bans. Not terrible tackles, but not good ones either.

[ASCPFC]

Far post again is unforgivable.

[orpingtoneagle]

Ok I revise my prediction from 2-0 to 5 -1 and a taxi for Sage.......

[Elphers40]

Oh look a free man at the far post AGAIN!

[OneStevePerrin]

Even down 10, there’s no excuse YET AGAIN for not marking at the far post / grrrr!

[TomH_CPFC]

Yes we are a man down and that is unfortunate. However, that's another free header at the back post. Not learning from mistakes. Think Sage has to go now.

[johnny the eagle]

I said he was the wrong man for the job about 2 weeks ago, and I stick by that.

[Frenchaigle]

I feel like this could be get out of jail free card for Pierre sage. Even if we lose not gunna go down as his fault

Agreed until that goal from a corner ,
Seriously, it's almost incompetence now , that corners haven't been sorted .

[MJ_Palace]

I allready dont wanna continue watching this s***. Cant believe how poor we are this season.

Get Matt Hobbs and Sage OUT NOW !!!!!!!!!!!! 😡

There is one job at 10 men, so if you can't be resolute then, at least be difficult, then you aren't a premier League level club

While it is hard to legislate for idiocy I am afraid it is symptomatic of a lack of discipline, organisation and control. The lack of those things have been hallmarks of Sage’s time with us. He’s just not up to it

I think perhaps it's more that Sage needed a good result tonight to keep the wolves from his door, and now he can't get one

[Putitout]

Back post again, will they ever learn? Considering the sending off they were doing OK, but this defending is suicidal.

[DenTyler]

Sage has had a lot of s*** luck and I do feel he was given s*** signings but the defending has to be his responsibility and it is so f***ing bad it is just rank amateur. I could have scored that header. He could have made a cup of tea waiting he had so much time. Terrible and unfortunately I don’t see how he survives the international break as it’s Liverpool next. I am not sure we will ever learn if he would have been any good.

On the plus side at least Forest lost again

Mate it ain’t just that defensively we are awful..!!

Some of that is due to Parish - our replacements for Guehi and Lacroix absolutely abysmal.
