Tommy Robinson

I am not a lawyer but I thought pubs and restaurants had a common law right to decide who they associate with. Much like we do at home. It’s their space. It’s not a shop. So long as they don’t discriminate on the protected grounds they can refuse to serve.
Protected grounds! They should serve or not serve whoever they like.

I personally believe the first 2 paragraphs under “right to refuse service” probably covers it. Just my opinion of course, as I am not a lawyer
I don’t. They clearly talk about the dispute that Farage had with Coutts and then go on to review the general rights that every business has to refuse service and the exceptions they must respect.

It doesn’t address the specific situation of pubs and restaurants being, under common law, private, not public, spaces.

You cannot refuse service just because you don’t like somebody

Who knows?

Can a pub refuse service to anyone?

The short answer is yes, as the licensee of your pub, you can bar anyone from your pub because it's private property. You also have the right to refuse service.10 Jan 2025

Can A Pub Landlord Or Landlady Bar Anyone They Like?
Key facts. You cannot discriminate against any customer on the basis of a range of characteristics including race, religion, sexuality and disability.

I think you should be able to if you are a private business.

I think this kind of thing was heavily looked into over the whole gay cake stuff.....for which that business went through the ringer because they were targeted by the weirdo lobby.

But if I remember correctly they reason they weren't served wasn't just because the business didn't like them as people.....which appears to be the case here.

But personally while I'm obviously on Robinson's side of the fence I'd also support the concept of a private business deciding upon what patrons it has......whether it's racial, political, sexual, whatever the feck it is.

There will always be other businesses happy for the trade.

But as we know, that isn't the law as it currently stands.....The uniparty Karens make law at the moment and have done so for decades.
