Didn't Martin shoot the guy in the back as he fled? More retribution than defence.

I didn’t comment on the case during the trial for obvious reasons.

Now that it has finished I am surprised and somewhat shocked to see that he was found guilty.

I have followed the case closely and on the circumstances and evidence I was expecting a not guilty verdict…perhaps there was more to it than that?

It has similarities to the Stevie Gerrard case where Gerrard did a pre-emptive attack on someone in a pub. There were witnesses and it was all on CCTV, but the location of the Court and the make-up of the Jury gave a Not-Guilty verdict.

The Legal system is open to manipulation like never before.

Lets all light a candle for the poor dead burglar. The more i reflect upon it, the more likely i am to cry myself to sleep.

And by the same token, some of the Grooming Gangs that Tommy opposed ? they have had a terrible time of it. Their mini-cab firm lost revenue while they were doing all that jail-time. And the kids educational visits to the local Mosque ? It might have now been necessary to bring a School-Teacher in tow.
