Tickets for all our European Tour games

Well, this puts a downer on the first ever European Tour. Tickets will be like rocking horse poop to get as the allocations will be absolutely miserly. UEFA competition say the allowance only has to be 5% of capacity.

So, here it is

Dynamo Kiev - Will Play at Arena Lublin, Poland, Capacity 15,200 (allocation 775 tickets)

Strasbourg - Capacity 27,500 (allocation 1,300)

Shelbourne FC - Their stadium is 5,700 capacity (allocation 285 tickets) but they will play at Tallaght Stadium which is 10,050 (allocation 525).

UEFA will not allow them to play at the 51,700 capacity Aviva Stadium (Lansdowne Road)

All 3 will have multiple travel possibilities, especially for me, Leeds Bradford direct flights to Lublin and Dublin, Ferry from Holyhead, train to Strasbourg etc etc etc.

But looking at those allocations were going to struggle like shy1te to get a ticket let alone one for my lad as well.

I've a mate in Dublin been threatening to go see for ages, I think I will travel anyway, just to drink the atmosphere & be part of the occasion, maybe I will be lucky and get a ticket from someone with a last minute cancellation (or if needs must watch it on the bar tv) & partake in whatever is on draft in the bar.

I posted this premonition at the start of the whole debate. unless you got about 8000 points or are in tbe HF no chance!
The clubs involved are about as big as Sutton United.
Even the knock out rounds will be miserly.
I don't have anything like 8000 points and am not in the HF - but I got a ticket for Fredrikstad.

If you think Kyiv and Strasbourg are as big as Sutton United then you have some reading to do.

I barely have 3000 points, so I am left hoping that either the Season ticket + get preferential treatment
(Same as Cup final / Community shield) Or its going to be someone's last minute cancellation

Question: will we get more allocation in the dynamo Kyiv game, considering they got to travel to Poland aswell and won't sell out?

Yes Dynamo Kiev are a famous European club with a big history of European competition.
And Strasbourg are managed by Liam Rosenior who is doing a great job apparently. They’ve got decent young athletic team and it won’t be an easy game for us

Hopefully we will get more than 1,300 for Strasbourg. If they want to fill their stadium give us at least 3k, as we all want to go on a European tour!

AZ Alkmaar Tickets- I'm a Gold Member but only about 2k points. Any idea if I could get a ticket for this home match?

Don't want to book my flight from Ireland be left disappointed!

Thanks in advance🙂

I'm about 300 short of 8k points. I'm tempted to have a splurge in the club shop to get up there 🙊

My estimation of points was finger in the air and I have already been proven wrong by Dubai Eagle above!!
It’s a big shame about Shelbourne not being able to play at the Aviva as it would have been a massive turnout and plenty of neutral Irish football fans would have come as well.
We could have had Damo as the mascot.

I was looking at the last game points needed. And 8000 was phase 3. I don't know if it even made that. I think phase one was 10,000 points.

Would have loved the Aviva and going to see palace play locally instead of usually flying to London for a game. Fingers crossed anyway that a few of Irish palace fans can get tickets.

Wonder if they might do a ballot like the other away games. Although i enter every single one and never win one.

Was also my fear when they started talking about demoting us to the lesser competition and the smaller grounds . It was always going to be more painful than a shrug of the shoulders and comments like 'we have a better chance of winning it '. Who gives a toss if we can't see it ?

The European dream has become at best watching us play against parka de bus at Selhurst .Strasborg might offer an opportunity but for those (like me) who refused to get sucked into paying for membership or buying hotdogs to get a few points (Ive got none) the chances are pretty slim .

My normal supplier of tickets will be on red alert in the coming weeks 😉
