The semi

In form premier league teams as well, even city had shaped up a bit compared to earlier in the season and only just stuffed us 5-2
Always been a strange lot Charlton fans
In that 5-2 defeat I think OG saw things that needed addressing. In a strange way that hiding was probably a good thing, without that he may not have tweaked things and gone on to loose the final. Our sliding doors moment

Such a contrast to the semi against Chelsea a few years ago where we didint turn up at all.

There was something completely different about us. That winning mentality and expectation that we are there to do business and not make up the numbers

That’s true, I think us fans still enjoyed the day against Chelsea, but it was a flat performance in the end from the team

And whatever Glasner may do in the future, we'll always have him to thank for that. His "we go out believing that we can win the game whoever the opposition" has transformed both the squad's and club's mentality. He's shown us that we can win trophies and I expect him to be aiming to win at least one next season (and I don't mean the Community Shield).
