People like you and eaglesdare ‘ignorant and racist’? Never.
In this country one supporters yells something racist at a ground and they are pointed out (often by their own fans) arrested, banned and both clubs condemn. In Spain and many other parts of Europe it's thousands and little is done.

Yup there will always be horrid individuals but a racist society would ignore or excuse that behaviour, we are not prefect but at least these issues are highlighted.

Could ask why so many fans might feel that way? They're all just knuckle dragging racists? But these questions are never asked. Everyone is already condemned. How exactly is anyone to protest at Muslim immigration if they so wish? Is there some reason this is a topic that can't be protested about? Why would that be?

I did wonder about this and the thought I had was that the Spanish government was talking about giving half a million immigrants citizenship...maybe some people don't like the idea of this?
Replace the word Muslim in the chant with Jew. Would you still feel the same?

It's not me feeling anything. I wasn't chanting it. And it wouldn't be the same at all would it?I couldn't see a valid reason for them to be particularly bothered by Jews. Although I don't think Spain is particularly happy with Israel. Why might they want to protest Islam and not Judaism - despite Israel's actions?
In Birmingham they would be attacking Jews, not chanting. Who would be doing that or threatening that, for example?

Why would it not be the same?
People don't protest or chant against Judaism because the overwhelming majority of people's issues with Israel has absolutely f*** all to do with Judaism, as I and many others have been explaining for well over a year.
