Nothing wrong with just being a mother. If that's what someone wants to do. Women should be able to do whatever the hell they want without some chauvinistic man who thinks he knows better dictating what they should and shouldn't be doing with their lives.

Though my favourite from that era was David Niven....who was very straight by all accounts.

The time for all that went a couple of decades ago.

Your liberalism has partly caused population collapse in Europe. This is far more serious than 'if I feel like it'. How birth rate is increased is less important than it being increased.

When the time comes you can fight for it in the street.....but you won't.

Also in classic Dan style you ignored my criticisms of your position and just went for emotional arguments.

This is meant as a joke, you obviously misunderstand the concept of humour.
The lean left must be you assume my political stance which I find strange as you no nothing about me,just jumping to a conclusion based on a joke about Trump.
Just to clarify I am not left or right wing and have voted for both parties in elections over the years depending on thier manifesto.
Don't know what LMFAO means but would guess not a compliment

Just out of interest, in general, how do they view the British out there in Cyprus. I know we have a big base out there with an unusual arrangement.

Just such a weird state of mind to have.

For someone who threw his toys out of
his pram for being told to wear a mask in case it caused other people to get sick and die because it infringed his personal freedoms you do seem to think you have some sort of right to tell women what they should do with their lives and what their purpose is.

Each to their own but you’ll forgive me if my daughter grows up not being told that the only useful part of her is her womb.

Most of the expats I know view the UK as a country in decline and have leaders with no backbone. People say this from a point of sadness not as a critic. The vast majority would never move back and enjoy a better standard of living and they have much more of a social live.
Cost of living is much lower i.e. council tax €190 per YEAR, water €20 for 3 months and beer €3.50 a pint.
The 2 bases here are sovereign territories and not part of Cyprus with thier own laws and police force

You call me weird and then proceed to compare what I thought on a pointless compulsion on wearing masks to the death of Europeans from a lack of birth rate.

Literally the end of Europeans.....Not only Europeans but East Asians as well.....the two races who have actually built the most desired civilisations on earth.

That kind of sums you up mate.....The future people like you offer is paved with ruin....but you will write that I'm being mean to young women as if the future I'm offering them is really bad.....Compared to what you are offering them.....which is fantasy and ends with far far more compulsion than the cultural messaging I suggest.

You, me and everybody else are only here to reproduce....outside of those that can't, who are blameless....Sure life is more than that and no one is saying any different......but your idea that it's all just a jolly and we have no responsibility at all.....is indicative of how we got here and your own philosophical failure.

I can't blame them for watching aghast at what's happening at home.

Thanks, it's interesting that these bases, like some large embassies, can be like their own separate countries within countries.....That thought struck me when I looked at the size of the new proposed Chinese embassy in London.

Cyprus gets nervous when fighter jets from Akrotiri are used in Syria etc as they think we might get attacked. Never had any hint of terrorist on the island as any attack would be seen as an attack on UK and USA who have a small presence here
