Wonderful player and, based on interviews I've seen, a lovely humble man. I've often argued that Ramsey missed a trick by not including him in the England squads from January 1973, when Don had been in such outstanding form for Palace during the preceding couple of months.

My hero then, still is and won't be replaced. Just to watch him in full flight was a joy and he scored some wonderful goals.
