Thank god the amateur dramatics have finished for another 4 months. Anybody else sick to death of the window being open during the season? I feel the whole bloody thing was created just give talk s*** and SSN a reason to exist.

Anyway, I am now looking forward to seeing how Sage cuts his cloth to suit what we have. This is it now. Very quickly we are going to have to see Sage’s Palace and not shadow version of the turn coats Palace.

We had a great couple of season but now it’s Sages time to shine. Move us forward.
I remember we had no idea if Max would be good enough to replace Anderson, Munoz the legend that was Ward, Olise and Eze. Look how that turned out.

It would be my wish the Sages palace gels quicky and in time to turn Forest over. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I completely agree with the sentiment of the OP, but I will be happier when ALL of the transfer window opportunities are closed...

Am I right in thinking that we can't get anyone else in (does this apply to free agents??) - but we could still lose players to other countries (thinking about the Turkey rumours)?

I think ALL windows should close before the season starts - or start the season later and get rid of the massive international breaks - to give a proper settled pre-season
 
I’m looking forward to seeing what he does with this squad. He’s certainly got options. I like his relaxed style and Im sure he was involved in discussions around the purchases. He might be disappointed that we didn’t get Fofana but there will be no throwing his toys out of the pram like Glasner.
 
The challenge for Sage now is to determine which 13 or 14 players will be at the front of the queue for his preferred starting line-up.

I doubt if there will be wholesale changes for the Fulham match, but I would expect to see a number of the newbies showing what they are made of against Middlesbrough next week.
