Getting back on topic here (well, someone needs to....) what I don't see is why providing education to children with cancer or any other medical condition that hospitalises them) is seen as any sort of responsibility of the NHS in the first place. National Health Service - the clue's in the name. No wonder it's going broke if it's paying £115 per hour for a one-to-one private tutor!

The NHS also spent approximately £59.6 million on translation and interpretation services in the 2022/23 financial year.
