The Burnham scrutiny thread

Then that brings the thorny question of whom to vote for. I am a lifelong Conservative but this lot aren't the Conservative party that I have grown up with. Reform Uk and Restore are too right wing and inexperienced for me whilst I'm not sure that the Liberals know what they are doing.

If a GE was called now I would give serious consideration to the Monster Raving Loonies purely as a protest
I think everyone should vote for the party that represents them the most, who am i to disagree.

Labour's tactic is to appeal to people who have s*** for brains. Only someone who had been lobotomised would believe that a new leader would fix Labour.

The Labour Party are the party of halfwits.

I personally hate the Liberals more than Labour.

Apparently, a couple of weeks ago, Starmer consulted Angela Rayner, Rachel and Bridget Phillipson, but was not reassured when they told him that he "shall never vanquished be, until Great Birnam wood to Euston Station shall come against him."

I can't accept that as a good strategy.

When the country is in such a mess, it's the duty of the old and wiser to try and steer it back on course.

Surely voting for the least worst option is the way at any election. Right now, for me, that is Reform. They are the only party who can wrestle the reins back from Labour.

Protest votes are of no value.

You'd be saying the same if the mayor of London was in the running. That would be amusing anyway.
But Khan has made a habit of winning elections, after BoJo the clown anyone would be much appreciated particularly the clean air that he has fought for,and getting rid of the "old bangers" what is not to like?

Absolutely nothing. He's beyond perfection in every way and has without doubt done a fantastic job without charging anymore for anything. Also particularly praiseworthy is the way he answers every question so completely and without hesitation. All in all a prince among men.

His star has been in the ascendant since Trump revealed his almighty bromance for him. I could do with a Cold Mountain today.

Plus vast experience of being the Mayor of Manchester and shed loads of charisma, are you GREEN with envy?
Mayor of Manchester, wow. Totally qualified then. Clearly, you're incapable of any self awareness or actual thought out critique. Must go with the territory.
Who, in their right mind would want to be mayor of anywhere, or PM? Some of the most pointless jobs in the world now. Not well paid but presumably there are kick backs or why would anyone bother, Lord Hermer.
Why are the scum we have desperately clinging on? It's not to run the country well. They're not believable, trustworthy or in any way competent. They'd also despise you - but you choose not to see it. Or ignorant of that.

Definitely been on the J. 😉

He only wins because half of London are not ethnically British.

And that's you, is it?

Phew! I can relax now

A complete disregard for 14 years of Tory rule, where they f**cked up just about everything and it's Labour that's the problem?

Why does no one on here recognise or acknowledge this?

Incredible.

Sorry: all too credible.

A comedy show.
