That’s a perfectly valid, accurate and well put together report. The two groups being described as “anti-immigration” and “counter protestors”. Not right, left, fascist or anything else political. The picture with lots of Flags of St George being waved, gives a good clue though as to the politics of some.Looks like the BBC struggled with this one.

No mention of the arrests of fascist far right thugs, just those with face coverings, and one group trying to break through police lines to attack the other group, and for attacking the other group. The left with the violence, HAD to be or it would all be about the far right.
The report makes it clear that it was the “counter protestors” who tried to break the police lines and were arrested.
