I certainly don’t watch it routinely! Why would anyone watch a channel that is unapologetically biased? I occasionally watch something specific.

You, being sympathetic to their bias, see other opinions as being exposed. I see them being ridiculed by the openly biased.

Why they are still allowed to broadcast, without being required to curtail their one eyed reporting and hostility to those who disagree, is very surprising.

But they were set up to reflect their bias not try to sneak it through under the guise of impartiality consequently if you don't agree with their position you know it going in.

There is a huge difference to determining who lies behind any organisation you have not previously heard of and someone recommending that any particular message has merit.

In this case I listened to the message. I didn’t ignore it. It was entirely what I would have expected. Just more of the hard right pile on. Safe to ignore

I watch it every evening and have never seen anyone ridiculed. I would like to know when this happens. One eyed reporting and hostility 🤣 ffs , you need to take a chill pill. No one has to watch it, if they don’t like their perceived hostility/bias. Unbelievable your views given your total support for everything BBC

Not true.

The editing told the actual story. That Trump was responsible for what happened. Trump wasn’t harmed in any way at all. Quite the reverse. It’s given him the opportunity to play the victim again.

The BBC have apologised for the way they told the story. Not that the story itself was untrue.

What Trump, and it seems you and all the BBC critics, seem to expect is for every segment of the programme to be taken out of context and judged on its own.

The BBC are on the back foot over this, with the political interference at Board level really obvious. I suspect the staff are very unhappy with the impression that’s been allowed to build. How the BBC now respond to Trump is crucial. If they tell him to read their apology for not editing the programme as efficiently as they would have wished and add no more, then all’s well. Let him bluster. If they bend the knee and flatter his vanity I expect some staff to leave.

I don’t watch it. Because when I have I dislike the approach.

For me they aren’t a news channel. They are the daily propaganda outlet for the Tories and now increasingly, Reform.

You can't have your cake and eat it.

If you tell people to ignore the biased sources you use yet then spend a whole post focused entirely upon complaining about a source others use then you are going to be rightly called out on it.
